Green PIN Solution

Green PIN is now available for immediate use by our customers through the Sarvatra Card Safe App. The official app is available on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Microsoft Store.

Customer Benefits
Rate of Interest
  • A 4-digit OTP (One-Time Password) is generated and sent to the customer’s Registered Mobile Number (RMN) for validation.
  • The OTP is highly secure, as it is sent only to the customer’s registered mobile number.
  • If the PIN is forgotten, customers can immediately set a new PIN at any of the Bank’s ATMs or by logging into the Sarvatra Card Safe App.
  • Green PIN saves time and cost for the Bank by eliminating PIN mailer printing and dispatch, and also saves the customer’s valuable time.
  • The OTP expires after a specified time period (3 hours) and supports both Personalized Cards and Insta Cards.
Safety and Maximum Control
  • The Green PIN initiative allows both existing and new debit cardholders to generate their ATM PIN without any paperwork.
  • Account holders can set their ATM PIN by visiting any ATM connected to the Bank’s network.
  • This service is also available for debit cardholders who have forgotten their existing ATM PIN, eliminating the need to visit the branch or wait for a PIN mailer
Green PIN Operation
ATM Channel

To reset your ATM PIN using the Green PIN option, please follow the steps below

  • 1. Select the ‘Green PIN’ option on the ‘Select Language’ screen of the ATM.
  • 2. On the next screen, you will see two options: Generate OTP and Enter OTP.
  • 3. If this is your first time generating an OTP, select ‘Generate OTP’ and enter your complete account number when prompted.
  • 4. The system will verify whether your registered mobile number is linked to your account. A 4-digit OTP will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number via SMS:

“Dear Customer, your PIN Change OTP is XXXX. Never share OTP with anyone. Bank never calls to verify OTP.”

  • 5. Once you receive the OTP, enter it on the ATM screen to confirm your identity.
  • 6. After successful OTP entry, a confirmation screen will appear on the ATM. Do not share your OTP with anyone, as the Bank will never ask for it over a phone call.

After Completing the Above Steps, the Customer Should Set the New ATM PIN as Follows

  • 1. Select the ‘Green PIN’ option on the ‘Select Language’ screen, then choose ‘Enter OTP’.
  • 2. A new screen will appear where the customer must enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
  • 3. Once the OTP is validated, another screen will appear prompting the customer to set and confirm the new PIN.
  • 4. After successful completion, the ATM screen will display a confirmation message indicating that the new PIN has been generated successfully. The customer can now start using the ATM card with the newly generated PIN.
Sarvatra Card Safe App Channel

To set a new ATM PIN using the Sarvatra Card Safe App, follow these steps

  • 1. Select the ‘Set PIN’ option in the Sarvatra Card Safe App.
  • 2. Enter your 12-digit account number, card expiry details, and CVV number.
  • 3. Click on ‘Generate OTP’.
  • 4. You will receive a 4-digit OTP via SMS on your registered mobile number. The SMS will read:
  • “Dear Customer, your PIN Change OTP is XXXX. Never share OTP with anyone. Bank never calls to verify OTP.”
  • 5. Enter the OTP in the app and set your new PIN.
  • 6. After successful completion, you will receive a confirmation message indicating that your new PIN has been generated. You can now start using your ATM card with the new PIN.
